The client approached us with a vision of creating a family base camp at this cabin—an enduring space that would feel timeless and adaptable for generations of users. Nestled on a hillside, the cabin offers expansive views of the mountain range, a feature we maximized by designing every room to capture these breathtaking vistas. To emphasize the importance of the surrounding landscape, all roof rafters were oriented towards the view.

Given the diverse group of users, it was essential for the cabin to convey a sense of balance and harmony. This was achieved through a thoughtful selection of materials, including marble, steel, wood, and concrete, each contributing to a cohesive and inviting atmosphere.
